Tuesday 3/15/22 workout

 Hi, I am out of town tomorrow…..we have one more week of hills then back to the track next week! See you all Saturday and have a great workout:)

Workout:

3 mi warmup, strides x 5, start at the Bike path/Turnpike and threshold effort to the More Mesa gate (~1mile), same as last week....then 10 short Mockingbird hill repeats hard effort up/easy down then threshold effort from base of Mockingbird back to Turnpike/Hollister (~1mile),  cool down 1-4miles depending on your goal mileage

Congratulations to all who raced the Ventura Half Marathon and Marathon last Sunday! We had some incredible performances and won the team competition in the Half Marathon and had 4 more Boston Qualifiers in the Marathon! Most notably Margo Rose’s perseverance to qualify for Boston after running 4:30 at the California International Marathon in December. With an incredibly generous and selfless act, teammate Reyna Talanian paced Margo to a 4:13 BQ in Ventura!
