Mike Swan and Rusty Snow have over 40 years of combined experience coaching runners of all abilities from the beginner to the Olympic hopeful. They offer individualized coaching plans as well as a "workouts only" option. SBRR works out twice weekly and offer three workouts per week (Tuesday 6am-San Marcos HS, Tuesday 6pm-UCSB and Saturday 6:30am various locals in the SB County area. SBRR TAKES A BREAK FROM TUESDAY 12/10 THROUGH TUESDAY 12/31
Hi, We will be taking a break during the holiday season from 12/10 through 12/31. Next official practice will be Saturday 1/4/14. Use this time to run as you feel. Do yourselves a favor and just run for fun. We'll get back at it with intensity and renewed focus in 2014. We wish you all a wonderful holiday season!

As someone who has participated in the Santa Barbara International Marathon, you know the importance of supporting the local running community. I’m writing today to tell you about a new event to benefit the next generation of runners.
Saturday, December 14th is our chance to support student athletes and have fun while doing it. The inaugural Elings Terrain Festival <http://www.elingsterrain.com/> is a multi race event that will benefit the cross country programs at Dos Pueblos, San Marcos, and Santa Barbara high schools. Here are the details:
What: Elings Terrain Festival
When: Saturday, Dec, 14 (first race 10:00 a.m.)
Run: 5K, 3K kids run, 3K dog run
Fun: Catered food by head chef Eric Widmer and Sushi Teri. Beer and other post-race refreshments. Live music by Hwy 35.
